New Single: “COLORBLIND” by Off Season
Off Season are a guitar and drum duo out of northwest Indiana. The indie rock band’s vibe is energetic and passionate. They released their first single back in 2022 and are still going strong. Today, March 13th, is the release of their first single of 2026: “COLORBLIND” at 12AM EST/11PM CST (tonight).
This song came from their recording session in Brighton that the band teased on their Instagram. I’m so excited to finally hear it! The lyrics are biting and the sound is nostalgic. In the guitar and vocal mixing, you can hear the 90s grunge influence. The drums are a nice, basic beat in the background of the song. Their purpose is to move the music forward and the job is accomplished perfectly.
The buildup that is created by the drums and guitar leads to a very intense bridge and outro for “COLORBLIND.” The song's vibe up until this point was a bit more quiet, but this change pulls the listener in fully and expresses the singer’s feelings perfectly. It reminded me a lot of My Chemical Romance.
This single made me excited for the future of Off Season! They are one to watch!
You can also catch Off Season at Reggie’s Rock Club tonight (3/13) at Chicago, IL tonight! I just know that they are going to put on a killer show!
