The New Era of The Paradox

The Paradox have only been around for two years roughly, but they have quickly become one of my favorite bands. The Atlanta alt rock group have been releasing banger after banger with songs like “Do Me Like That,” “Get the Message,” and “Bender”; it’s a sound that’s classic, but wholly unique and adding to that will be The Paradox’s newest single: “Good For Me.

Released today with a kick ass music video, it features more of The Paradox’s unique style and feeling. Soaring hooks with catchy riffs that you’ll be humming well into next week, with a relatable message to anyone who has had the unfortunate position of being into someone who you know is bad for you. This paired with the band’s music video that’s equal parts chaotic and nostalgic makes “Good For Me” a surefire hit for the band coming into the Summer music scene.

This launch marks the kickstart of The Paradox’s banner year in 2026. Not only have they reached the Number 1 spot for Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart, but they’ll also be playing NPR’s Tiny Desk concert for Black Music Month in July. If that’s too far out and you need a fix sooner though, they’ll also be appearing at this year’s Vans Warped Tour in Washington DC.

The Paradox is a genuinely fun and creative band that has a classic punk rock sound, but still makes it feel fresh and new. With the upcoming laundry list of events involving them, I’m looking forward to this new era and the content they’ll make from it.
